Ingrid Pabinger is Professor at the Clinical Division of Haematology and Haemostaseology, Department of Medicine I, at the Medical University of Vienna. Her scientific fields of expertise encompass hereditary and acquired bleeding disorders, including hemophilia, and thrombotic disorders. She has published more than 530 papers and has acted as principal investigator of numerous clinical studies in bleeding and thrombotic disorders as well as immune thrombocytopenia. She has been involved in several international scientific societies, such as the ISTH, ASH, ETHA, GTH, EHA, as member, chair or president.

Ingrid Bistervels started working as a medical doctor at the Department of Internal Medicine at the Flevo Hospital in Almere. She has worked with Saskia Middeldorp in Amsterdam, where she had the Highlow study as her main project. She then moved on to work with Ander Cohen in the Guys and St. Thomas’ Hospital, focusing on long-term outcomes of venous thromboembolism. She currently works as a Resident in Internal Medicine at the NoordWest Ziekenhuisgroep in Alkmaar and is excited to further integrate cutting-edge research in the field of pregnancy-related thrombosis with her clinical work.

Dr. Karen Schreiber

Karen Schreiber is a Rheumatologist at the Danish Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Søndeborg and Associate Professor at the Institute for Health Research in Southern Denmark, Odense University. Her clinical and research focusses are improving reproductive health care for patients with rheumatic diseases. Her main passion is the pathophysiology and treatment of thrombotic and obstetric antiphospholipid syndrome. She is a member of EULAR (where she co-leads the Reproductive Healthcare and Family Planning group), BSR (where she is founding member of the pregnancy group) and of the Danish Society for Rheumatic Diseases.
